How to Erase MailPoet Data?

When you uninstall and delete the MailPoet plugins from your website, all data created with MailPoet—such as lists, subscribers, newsletters, and forms—remains stored in your website’s database.

This behavior is intentional to prevent accidental data loss during troubleshooting, such as uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin.

However, if you’re permanently removing MailPoet and do not plan to use it again, you may want to delete all associated data to ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR.

Note: Be sure to back up your database before making any changes to avoid unintentional data loss.

At this time, the only way to completely erase MailPoet data is by manually removing its database tables.

To do this, delete all tables in your database that begin with *_mailpoet_*.

If you are not comfortable with making database changes, you may want to get assistance from your host support.
