Shortcodes in WordPress are little snippets that add all sorts of different things, like forms, boxes, or images to your post.  Many WordPress plugins use shortcodes.

Why Are My Shortcodes Being Removed?

MailPoet's visual editor automatically removes all shortcodes in your newsletter. Why? Shortcodes insert HTML and styles that are often not compatible with email clients  (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, iOS Mail, etc.)
